juit infra is awesome .... climatic conditions there are very gud .... placement wise jiit sec 62> juit ...

no such affidavit is needed for dropouts ... no effect on placements .... company does not care if u r dropout ... they just see ur profile nd ur knowledge ....

what is the meaning of blacklisted? please explain in detail???
first of all it is not black listed ..... this is not about being black listed .... its about whether it remains a deemed university or not ??? the court is yet to make decision on this .... till the time the court takes its decision the deemed univ status will remain .... the case is in the court from 2 years but it has not made an effect on the placements ... companies have faith in the quality of students .... we dont know when the decision will come ... it might take 2-4 years more ... till then so many batches will be passed out .... lets take the 10% chance that if the decision comes against the clg then also the students already studying will be given a deemed univ degree coz when they had taken the admission the status was the same .
what will happen to the clg after that??
->nothing will happen it will be a private clg after that [ like amity and various other clgs] or it will be merged with the state university [ like delhi clg of engineering is merged with state univ and is now known as DTU] .....
it wont effect ur any further studies .....

sec-128 is definatelly not the best .... but its the best u can get at this rank ....
if u feel u can get much better rank next year then think for a drop of else join jiit sec 128

If you are interested in mechanical, guna is very best option....at your rank......and you can not get biotech at sector 128 at this rank....

yes there is no hostel at jiit sec 128 .... they will be making one .. and it will be there in 2 yrs ...
the pgs are a bit more costlier than hostel ....

-> u have to find a pg there or rent a flat on sharing basis with ur clg mates ...

buddy it depends on which branch u want ,like if u have passion for mech then only go for it , else u might have problem passing it , mech is a really tough branch ....
u can go for ece in jiit .... ece people are prefered over eee ...
buddy its too early to enquire about these things ..... its ur first year , enjoy ur clg life for now .... but still if want to learn something then revise ur c, c++ concepts ... it will help u in 1st nd 2nd sem .....

avg package for jiit nd juit are almost the same but the percentage placement for jiit is more than juit.
jiit avg package-3.5 percentage placement->170%
juit avg package-3.3 percentage placement->120%

Sir I attended the 3rd day counselling at Jaypee Waknaghat. I've been alloted ece at sec 128 and I've been waitlisted for ict and cse at waknaghat. I may get ict branch after upgradation but I don't have any idea about cse. Should I freeze my option or wait for upgradation. Sir, how sect 128 as a college. Is it aicte approved? Some case was filed against Jaypee last year, what about that?

Till Todays date ABES is deffinately better than Jypee sect.128....
and if u r getting the same branch in ABES...don't loose you opprtnty.... and I think the rs.5000 are also not refundable.....and I think ABES has hostel facility....
you can visit ABES's website for more info....you can also ask others who in noida....but if you ask anyone who study in ABES or jypee.......they will never blame or say anything false about there college.....so choose ur college rightly.....

hey raghav .... both the clgs are equally gud ....... but mait has lower fees, and jaypee has a better campus .........

I had earlier got CS in sec 128... my AIEEE rank is 57k, now after the first upgradation my waitlist no. for Sec 62 IT is 72, in the meanwhile I have also got IT in KIET, so shall I still wait for further upgradations in JIIT waitlist (you had earlier informed me that I might get IT in sec 62 by the last upgradation) or shall I take KIET and withdraw from the waitlist...??

@rahul JIIT is better in terms of teaching and placements , but infra wise JUIT is superb .... even JIIT is very good in terms of infra ..... my suggestion would be to go for JIIT

@ apti .... sorry for late reply .... placement rate for Mtech is fine , average package is somewhere around 3.5 lakhs ..... for many companies JUIT and JIIT students sit together !!!! and buddy i think u should go for it coz its one of the better options
@ME , no not everyone gets placed ... u know about placements of mtech guys everywhere ..... almost everywhere 100% placement for mtech is not there ... still more than 75% students get placed through campus , others get of-campus jobs or they go for higher studies { PHD } ... !!!
@Anant then there is no surity of job, 75% students getting placed, the other 25% are doomed
@me .... its a clg , we provide education .... we dont promise or guarantee placements .... if u find any clg which guarantees u placements then u can go there .... this year is not good for the industry .... even lower IIM's and some reputed clgs are finding it tough to get the students placed !!!

@rahul gupta , JUIT has a huge hostel , i dont know y they are not providing hostel right now to u guyz [ maybee they r keeping it reserve for btech ppl ] ..... there are some PG's [ although very less ] ... its much better to stay in hostel .... and i think [ my personal thinking ] that after btech admissions are over , there will be vacancies in hostel and at that time u will get it [ u might have to visit them twice thrice but it will be done ]
@me i dont know where u come to know things like this >???? can i have the source for this knowledge ???? there is no such partiality done ..... and i dont think u will find a better clg than jiit ....[ some exceptions like DTU and IIT's are there ] !!!!! what other options do u have ???

Sir, my jee main rank is 100528 and board percentage is 90.2. i wanted to take admission in jiit. they called me for counselling but i am waitlisted. there is any chance that i will get jiit sec 62 or 128 in cse or it branch..
